Animal Farm
How is may life simalar and how does it differ from the book animal form; well my life is simalar to this book because sometimes I feel like I am only given just enough freedom and time to do what i want to make it through the week without going crazy. Just like in the book how the animals feel that they don't own anything but the skin on their backs and given just enough food so they don't die of starvation. Also in refrence to the book I have thought about taking control by running away but I always end up thinking to my self no that's probably not a good idea because I wouldn't have any food, water, money or a place to sleep. But in the story they are actually going to capture the farmer so that they can rule the farm all by them selfs; but what they didn't think through is how are they going to get there food and water...So we will see what happens.

Power
There are several things that hold power for me and my life. One of the people that hold power over me is my mom, she is always right by me guiding me and pushing me to do the right thing all the time. Other people that hold power over me are my friends because they help me make the right dissitions when I feel like I'm going to do something stupid. Jesus is another person that has a great deal of power in my life. Because well without him I ,or anybody else for that matter; wouldn't be here living. And he has a plan and purpose for everyone. But the main person that has power over me is myself because at the end of the day all that matters is the choices that make and no one is really responsible for the choices you make besides you!

Knee surgery on ACL
I recently had knee reconstruction surgery on my ACL. Your ACL or (anterior cruciate ligament) is one of the four major ligaments in the human knee. There are two bundles of the ACL the anteromedial and the posterolateral. The ACL attaches in the front of the tibia or (your shin bone) and to your knee bone. When you tear your ACL you experiance instant pain to what ever leg you tore it in. You probably won't be able to put very much prussure on it without experianceing some excrutating pain on the inside of your knee, for me the pain was on the inside of my knee but towards the back side of the leg. The only way to know for sure is to get an MRI so don't waste your time going to the emergency foom for an X-ray because they won't be able to see anything that is not bone so don't waste your time or your money. There are 3 different types of surgeys you can get done. The first involves them drilling a hole in to your tibia, your knee cap, and your femmer and attaching them all with steel hooks. As far as long term effectiveness this one you would not be able to kneel down on the knee and you will end up lossing 5% of total muscel in your quads. The second one envalves them cutting out a strong tendent from a dessest person and them placing it in where your ACL was, this one would allow you a little bit of a quicker recovery time then the other two but you run the risk of enfection becuse you are using the body parts of someone else. And the 3rd opption and the one that I went with is a prossess where they cut about a 3 inch cut in your leg so the can take out the old ACL and then they go in and cut out two of your 4 hamstrings trible knot them and place it back where the ACL was. The bad thing about this is you will end up losing 5% of your hamstring musle. After you have surgery it will hurt ALOT, so don't try to do anything that you don't feel llike you can untill you go to physical therapy, there the person will give you some exercises to do. MAKE SURE that you do all of your exercises don't skip out on a day this is a very major surgery and anything that you do now or don't do can effect the way you live your life for the rest of your life. You will have to wear a leg brace for 6 weeks after your surgery. During those 6 weeks just take it easy get used to walking on it don't do anything crazy. After the 6 weeks your still not completely healed yet you will still be going to therapy, It won't be till the 6 month period after your surgury before you can do sports again but it won't be untill around a full year before your the way you were before you got injured. So just relax you had to have this surgery if you wanted to play sports again so take it easy the year will be over with before you know it.
